The Extract to the left is taken from the Performance Excellence Guide

The Performance Excellence Guide for Regional Natural Resource Management Organisations has been developed with extensive input and consultation from people working within the NRM Sector across a number of Australian states, as well as representatives from a range of stakeholders including all levels of Government, Board Members, Community and Landcare Groups and key partner organisations.

This Guide is based upon globally recognised Performance Excellence Models. Its development was driven by Regional NRM Bodies as a way of evaluating their overall performance in their continual improvement in delivering NRM outcomes.

Since the Guide was first published, it has been used to evaluate a range of organisations across four States and information generated has been used as a reference for - determining individual improvement priorities as well as benchmarking and exchange of information on leading practices across the sector.
